TIPS FOR USING YOUR textPlus PHONE NUMBER with friends outside the textPlus Network in Canada:
1. Send a text from your textPlus number to Canadian friends on their 10-digit mobile number first. When they reply it's according to their normal texting plan (no international fees).
OR
2. Have Canadian friends text your textPlus number. Their first text will be charged according to their international rate plan. All subsequent texts will be charged according to their normal domestic text plan as long as they continue to reply in the same text thread.
OR
3. To avoid the one-time international charge, simply have them send your username to 60611.
Sending/receiving messages within textPlus is free for you. Std msg rates apply ONLY when you have Regular Text Notifications switched on (Account Settings)
